There are changes in the city street design in Peebles plus festival rides have to be placed for the new amusement company, their are changes in where we place vendor spaces. We will try to get returning vendors everyone that has been coming and making our festival a success every year their same space or as close as possible.

 

Following are the Rules and Regulations for Old Timers Days Festival:


 

 1. Tables, awnings or otherwise are not to extend more than 10 feet from the curb.


 

 2. Only approved 2/3 prong electric cords, with no splices, tears or bruises. These will be checked and if improper cords are in use, they will be 

     confiscated. Cords must be kept away from walking areas when possible and connections out of gutters.

 

3.  Main Street will be closed at 6 p.m. on Wednesday of festival week and set up  starts as soon as the street is cleared.  Vendor set up can begin

     immediately after and must be set by 5 p.m. on Thursday of the festival, opening day.

 

4.  Tear down and removal should be complete by 6 p.m. on Sunday of festival week, the streets will be reopened to the public.

 

5.    The following items are prohibited: INVISIBLE INK, TORPEDOS (POPPERS), VULGAR OR PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIALS, STINK BOMBS, OR OTHER OFFENSIVE

       MATERIALS AND ANY ARTICLE CAPABLE OF SHOOTING ANY PROJECTILE AND DEEMED HARMFUL BY THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE OR LAW ENFORCEMENT.

 

6.  Absolutely no raffle drawings without OTD committee approval.  Contact festival chair at 937-587-3749 or co-chair at 937-243-3229 and ask for a

     raffle consent form.  It will be submitted to the committee for consideration and approval, so do this as early as possible.  No GUN or QUILT raffle

     drawings as these are exclusive drawings of the committee each year. 

 

7.   A G.F.I. needs used at each booth that has electricity; this is a pigtail with a circuit breaker where electric can be plugged in.  This is by order of

      the state fire marshall.  You cannot plug into electricity without the G.F.I. this is a safety issue and you will be held liable for any injuries and we

      will ask you to leave if you do not comply.  No refund will apply.

 

8.  All booths need to be kept clean and neat.  At the end of each night, make sure all trash is picked up in and around your booth space and placed in

     the trash containers provided by the festival.  

 

9.  The OTDF makes the final decisions and reserves the right to change space allotments if necessary.

 

10. Police protection will be provided.  Every reasonable precaution is taken to protect person and property; however, the OTDF is not responsible for losses that may occur.  (All vendors should have their own insurance.) 

 
11.  No refunds
 
12.  Early registration deadline is May 31.  Vendors application received after July 15 cannot be guaranteed a space, vendor spaces will not be held without pay.  New vendors will be contacted after July 15.
